Surfine Hitech Sdn Bhd (“we”, “our”, “the Company”) is committed to providing professional and quality driving training services for all licence categories. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which students may request refunds, cancellations, or changes to their driving lessons.

1. General Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:

1.1 Overpayment or duplicate payment

If a student accidentally makes multiple payments or pays more than the required fee.

1.2 Programme cancellation by the Company

If Surfine Hitech Sdn Bhd cancels or discontinues a course due to operational, safety, or scheduling reasons.

1.3 Medical or emergency reasons

A refund may be granted if the student can no longer attend lessons due to:

Serious illness or injury,
Long-term medical restrictions, or
Other exceptional circumstances (proof required).

2. Non-Refundable Items & Fees

The following fees are strictly non-refundable once payment is made:

2.1 JPJ or Government-related fees

Including but not limited to:
JPJ registration fees
QTI (Pra-Test) fees
Computer theory test fees
License processing fees
Medical check-up fees
Mandatory insurance or PBT (local authority) charges

These payments are not reversible once submitted.

2.2 Completed or partially completed lessons

No refund is provided for:

Lessons already conducted
Sessions missed due to student lateness or absence
Any package where training hours have been fully utilised.

2.3 Administrative fees

Registration fees, file opening fees, and administrative processing charges are non-refundable.

3. Student Cancellations

3.1 Before lessons begin

Cancellations made within 48 hours of registration may be eligible for a partial refund, minus administrative and JPJ-related fees.
After 48 hours, refunds are not guaranteed and will be assessed case-by-case.

3.2 After lessons have started

Once training has begun, no refund will be issued for remaining lessons, except under valid medical or emergency reasons.

4. Rescheduling of Lessons

4.1 Student-initiated rescheduling

Students must inform the instructor or office at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule a lesson.
Failure to attend without notice may result in the lesson being forfeited without replacement.

4.2 Centre-initiated rescheduling

If lessons are postponed due to weather, instructor availability, or vehicle issues, a new time will be arranged at no additional cost.

5. Replacement Lessons

Students may request replacement lessons only for missed sessions caused by:

Instructor absence
Vehicle breakdown
Severe weather or safety concerns

Replacement lessons for student-caused absence are subject to additional fees.

6. Processing Refunds

If a refund is approved:

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
Refunds will be issued via bank transfer or the original payment method.
Students must provide all required documents (IC, bank details, proof of payment).

7. Transfer of Course / Student Substitution

A paid driving programme cannot be transferred to another student unless approved in writing by the Company.

Additional JPJ fees may apply for name or category changes.

8. Company Rights

Surfine Hitech Sdn Bhd reserves the right to:

Reject refund requests that do not comply with this policy
Request supporting documents for medical/emergency claims
Amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice
